Video review: Sony Reader Pocket Edition PRS-350 ebook reader with touch screen

Sony has finally gotten it right: a touch screen E-Ink ebook reader that doesn't suffer from glare and poor contrast. We take a look at Sony's most affordable and portable fall 2010 ereader, the Pocket Edition PRS-350. It has a 5" E-Ink Pearl display (that's the same higher contrast display technology the Kindle 3 and Kindle DX Graphite use), Sony's usual excellent build quality and support for ePUB and PDF ebooks and periodicals. The Pocket Edition is available in silver and pink, and it sells for a pricey $179.

Here's our video review that shows the touch user interface, page turn speeds, PDF handling and more. Our written review will be out later today.

That's pretty neato, a big improvement over the PRS-300.

But maybe you need a second video where you call Sony's Reader tech support and wade through the parade of dinguses on the other end.
