Firefox Launches on Android, Claims 3X Faster

Mozilla today released Mozilla Firefox 4 for Android and Maemo. This release includes Firefox Sync, which provides seamless and secure access to personal data across desktop and mobile devices, including browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs, form data and passwords. Mozilla also claims Firefox web browser is up to three times faster than the stock browser on Android.



Mozilla Firefox 4 for mobile includes:

? Features like tabbed browsing, bookmarks, add-ons, a new look that minimizes typing and hides browser controls when not in use, allowing users to focus on the websites they visit



? Seamless access to browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs and passwords across desktop and mobile devices with Firefox Sync

? Thousands of ways to customize features, functionality and look of Firefox with Firefox Add-ons
