Sprint today started to roll out Jellybean (Android 4.1) for EVO LTE customers. Beginning today, customers can manually install the update. The network push will start to rollout to customers within the next few weeks. Here's more info: ![]() In addition to Jellybean, this update also delivers HTC Sense 4+, which provides improved camera capabilities, including Auto Portrait, Sightseeing Mode and the ability to display photos and video albums according to when and where they were taken. Sense 4+ also introduces a new Tap and Go function that allows customers to connect the phone to select Beats Audio speakers when 'tapped' together. How to install the software When you receive the notification, simply choose the install now option and follow the device prompts to complete the upgrade. (If you choose install later, you will be reminded twice a day to install the update). If you wish to install the software after selecting install later, you can wait for the reminder or tap Menu > Settings > System Updates > HTC software update > Check now. Select the update you wish to install and follow the device prompts to complete the upgrade. Note: You will not be able to use your phone or make emergency calls during the upgrade. Please do not turn off your phone, or remove the storage card during the upgrade. Verify the software is updated by going to Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software information. The Software number should be 3.15.651.16. For those who just can't wait to get Android 4.1, there will be an easy user initiated option to download the upgrade starting today. To access the update - from the home screen access Settings > System Updates > HTC software update > Check now.
