At CES 2013, Lenovo announced two new touchscreen Ultrabooks, the Lenovo IdeaPad U310 and IdeaPad U410. These run Windows 8 and are basically updated and touch-enabled U310 and U410 models with a 10 point maulti-touch capacitive display and Microsoft's new OS. The IdeaPad U310 and U410 Ultrabooks have a 10-point touch screen, uniquely combining a thin & light design with ultra-responsive performance like waking up from sleep in just 1 secon. It comes with a 3rd gen Intel Core processor and smart features like the Intelligent Touchpad, which is optimized for the new Windows 8 interface, for easy scroll and zoom functions. Plus, these notebooks have an extended battery life of up to 8 hrs. ![]() The IdeaPad U310 Touch will be available starting in March. Models start at approximately $779. I'm sure there's HDMI, I can't imagine Lenovo leaving that out. But their initial spec documents don't list every feature. I'll see the machines in person tomorrow and will report back. |
