Droid 4 Gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update

Verizon announced the DROID 4 by Motorola will soon be upgraded to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. The software upgrade will be pushed to customers in phases starting March 19. For more information on the Jelly Bean upgrade, visit the DROID 4 support page. Here's more info:



The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will give the Droid 4 by Motorola new features such as voice search by Knowledge Graph, new notification panel, smart keyboard and Google Now.

Device hardware gets some enhancements with this update as well and these include:

-Improve voice and data connectivity
-Calendar settings have been improved for a better user experience
-Improved reliability and connectivity of Back Up Assistant Plus and visual voicemail
-Mobile Hotspot data connectivity has been improved
-Sling and MOG applications preloads has been removed.
