Lenovo Announces New X1 Laptops, Legion Gaming Laptops and More at CES 2017

Lenovo has announced a full range of upcoming products at CES 2017. The new products include refreshed X1 family of laptops and tablets, MIIX series and newly branded gaming laptop family, the Lenovo Legion series. Here's more info:

ThinkPad X1 family

The 2017 ThinkPad X1 Carbon, available in classic ThinkPad Black and a new silver color, is the lightest 14-inch business notebook, weighing just 2.5 pounds and packs a 14-inch IPS display into a new sleek 13-inch form factor. Now offering up to 15 hours of battery life for extended time away, the X1 Carbon has been redesigned to include Thunderbolt 3 ports, super-fast LTE-A Wireless WAN and WIFI CERTIFIED WiGig options that deliver superlative performance and connectivity. Feel protected from cybercrime threats with enhanced security features. A fingerprint sensor with a dedicated chip that handles biometric processing helps secure and simplify the Windows Hello logon experience with a new face recognition Infrared camera.

Other specs of the X1 Carbon include: Intel HD Graphics 620, up to 16GB RAM, 14" WQHD/FHD options, and Black and Silver colors.

Also available in the new metallic silver, the updated ThinkPad X1 Yoga is flawlessly flexible and adapts to its users' needs offering true multi-mode capability and can deliver stunning colors and absolute blacks on the only 14-inch notebook with an OLED screen. A redesigned rechargeable pen and improved 'rise and fall" keyboard complete the improved experience.

Additional specs of the X1 Yoga include: Intel Core 7th gen, up to 16GB RAM, Intel Its Plus Graphics 640/Intel HD Graphics 620, up to 16 hours battery/10.5 hours for the OLED version, 14" WQHD OLED/WQHD IPS/FHD IPS, weighs 3.13 lbs.

The ThinkPad X1 Tablet has unique modules that offer port expansion and up to 5 hours of additional battery life, and an integrated projector option making it easier to go from creation to presentation. Specs include: Intel HD Graphics 615, up to 10 hours battery, 12" 2K IPS display, weighs 1.69 lbs without keyboard/2.35 lbs. with keyboard.

The Miix 720

The ultra-chic Miix 720 Windows detachable includes the features needed to work smarter, combining an ultra-crisp 12-inch QHD+ display and precision touchpad-enabled keyboard with up to 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and Thunderbolt 3, and works with the Lenovo Active Pen 2.

Other specs include: Intel HD Graphics 620, 1MP front camera with IR, 5MP rear camera, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD, 41 WHr battery, 12" QHD+ display, weighs 1.72 lbs. without keyboard/2.42 lbs. with keyboard, available in Champagne and Iron Gray colors.

Lenovo Legion Gaming Laptops

The Lenovo Legion Y720 and Y520 laptops offer gamers VR through the latest NVIDIA graphics, better sound with Dolby Atmos, and increased performance with the latest 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. Additional specs include:

Legion Y720: Up to Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU, NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics, up to 16GB RAM, up to 2TB HDD and 512GB SSD, 60 WHr battery, 15.6" UHD/FHD IPS display.

Legion Y520: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti CPU, 15.6" FHD display.
