Re: Pocket PC 2003 Upgrade

In the press release linked in my previous post, Toshiba currently only offers upgrade to PPC 2003 for certain e750/755 series. You cannot upgrade your e740 right now. It's very hard to say if Toshiba will offer upgrades to other models.

Re: Pocket PC 2003 Upgrade

The upgrade will wipe out your Pocket PC. You should NOT restore from a backup after upgrading because you will overwrite system files with older versions.

Instead, use a different syn name for your upgraded Pocket PC. When you sync, all your PIM data (Outlook stuff) will get synced to the PDA. Then re-install your applications.

Hi,

I agree that up gradation of version 2003 is safe. I found a lot of useful information here. Thanks for sharing.
