Hi, I am looking to get into the PDA market but one thing always holds me back. When I look at my daybook now I can see what I am doing for the entire week and I can see how to fit in different meetings and other events very easily. When I used my wife's PDA and I choose the week at a glace layout (all the days of the week are visible) all I can see are tons of black bars all over the place. I do not know if a bar is a reminder about a phone call or a large meeting. Is there any way to colour those bars for different events ie Blue personal, red business, orange work-out etc? Thanks for any help, Brett

While the built-in calendar apps on Palm OS and Pocket PC devices have the somewhat lame week view you mentioned, there are freeware and shareware calendar programs for both platforms that have much better week and days views, complete with readable text, color coding and etc. Check out www.handango.com to see what's out there.

The datebook app that comes with the Palm PDA has relatively limited features. There are some realy good 3rd party calendar software available. Check out iambic's Agendus:

You can even download a demo to try out.
