1. HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS: Particularly the 850/1900 MHz bands allowing for internet access wherever there is a 3G signal.
2. Wi-fi: Wi-fi is particularly useful when there is not very good 3G coverage and is good for accessing your home network and/or school network without worrying about limits on data and/or performance issues from too many users using the 3G network.
3. 3.5 mm headphone jack: It is nice to not worry about bringing along your headphone adapters when you are out and about with your mobile phone, just bring your favorite set of headphones and your mobile device and you are good to go enjoying music in its pristine quality.

1. programs - whats the point of a smartphone if it doesnt have good programs/features youd use? 2. battery - its still a phone, so being able to use all the features and still have plenty of battery for actually talking is important 3. user interface - ideally would look really sweet and still be easy/fun to use

1)First of all it's important to have Wi-Fi in a phone, i don't know what the reason may or may not be but there aren't phones out there that do but this phone does. 2)Well, the QWERTY keyboard is very important I have tried out on this phone at the AT&T store and all i have to say is that the keyboard's amazing and it feels comfortable when you text. 3)The phone needs to have windows mobile to be a successful smartphone and this phone has it.

1. High-speed internet 2. Versatility 3. Form factor/appearance
The Touch HD would fit the bill perfectly except for #1 (in the US, anyway.) That makes the Fuze the next best choice for me.

For me, the three things are 1. Processor Speed. I need something that can play my videos without jerkiness. 2. Expandable memory. Being able to put in my MicroSD card is vital. 3. GPS. I drive a lot and need to make sure that I can find my way around.
Thank you!

1. Call quality, including good volume. 2. 3G on GSM (we like to switch phones and SIM cards make this easy). 3. A quality web browser. I know you only asked for 3 but the 4th is that my wife loves the Fuze and I want to win it for her! We're both grad students and can't afford to buy it.

1. Tactile keypad (hard to dial in the car on a tilt or other touchscreens) 2. Size (3125/StrTrk was a great size, but little power. 8125/8525 are huge) 3. Battery Life (Tilt goes for 1day or less on a charge, would like more)

I think there are three things that are very important for a good smartphone
First is ease of use from the OS. A fancy keyboard and fast 3G connections mean nothing if someone has to go through 5 different menus just to change the sound profile.
Second is hardware quality. A smartphone is something someone will rely on and it cant lose a button or start shutting down by itself.
Third is connectivity. A smartphone was designed to be used anywhere at anytime. Whether its global 3G or Wi-Fi, it must be able to provide easy access that the smartphone owner requires

Question: What 3 features are most important to you in a smartphone?
1. WiFi - The phone HAS to have Wifi because if I don't sign up for a data plan, I can still use WiFi to connect to the net.
2. Physical keyboard - Coming from a Treo 700wx, I prefer the feel of a physical keyboard whether it is a slide keyboard or otherwise.
3. Windows Mobile OS - While there might be some stability issues, I like my phones with WM5/6 because no other OS offers the extensive ability to truly customize your phone to your liking. I love to tweak my phone to maximize its performance and looks.
I just discovered MobileTechReview.com and would like to thank you guys and gals for hosting this awesome contest. *fingers crossed*

1. Wi-Fi: Definitely number 1 on my list for not only the ability to connect outside of ATT's 3G, but when in buildings which may have poor network reception I can just jump on the local wi-fi.
2. QWERTY Keyboard: This makes life so much easier when typing messages and email.
3. Calendar Sync
