Connection and file tranfer
      #10402 - 04/29/04 05:17 PM

Hi

I'm having some problems with my Ipaq 1930.
The PDA can't be connected to my PC for a long time. After some minutes I get a message: "cannot connect" "Unable to connet: you have no modem entries created, and no network card present".
then, I unplug the PDA from the cradle, plug it again and it gets synchronized again (for some more minutes).
I tried to transfer a file (MPG) but the transfer rate is soooo slooow! and because the connect/disconnect, I'm can't do it.
I have the last Microsoft ActiveSync and WIN XP with SP1 and all updates on PC and WIN 2003 on PDA and storage card (256Mg free!).
Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Regards

The messages sound like it's trying to go to the 'net. Do you have a DSL/Cable Modem or are you a dial-up user? On the host PC, what are the network settings? I wonder if that's a Microsoft task trying to 'call home'?
