I will be buying 40 pda's and 40 cellphones for company use. GSM isn't an option because of coverage. Would like to bond a pda (I currently own a 1945) to a cellphone for use as a modem to dial out and synchronize a database file.

Does anyone know of a phone/cable that will allow this?

Check www.gomadic.com and www.thesupplynet.com to see if they offer a cable to connection the 1945 to the phone of your choice.
