software install? to storage card..i700
      #10958 - 05/15/04 07:21 PM

I have a Samsung i700.

I want to install a PDA program to memory card but when I install it goes to main memory. Is there a way to do this or to move all these files to storage card?

Again I must Thank you guys for all the help. I spend hours reading all your sites and have learned so much.

When you install the app via ActiveSync on the desktop, make sure you select storage card as the destination rather than internal memory. It will ask you if you want to install to the default location, say no and tell it to use the storage card.

I tried the install again, it didn't ask where??? It automatically went to main storage. I was installing streets and trips. I was able to send the maps to the storage card but not the software?

You could try unchecking the automatically install to default location option in ActiveSync on your PC.
