T-Mobile doesn't seem to have any plans to release it in the US . Instead it looks like they'll be releasing the iPAQ 6300 Pocket PC Phone later this summer.

T-Mobile does not own any 850MHz bandwidth in the US, so a phone with that band won't do you any good. AT&T and Cingular have added 850MHz to their 1900MHz network. Most of their networks are still 1900, but when they add new towers, they will be 850MHz. So in a few years, you'll not get as much coverage with a phone that lacks 850MHz for these two (soon to be one thanks to the merger) carriers. 850MHz phones have only started to come out this year, and so far none of the smartphones on the market run on this band Again, for T-Mobile it makes no difference since they only use 1900MHz.
