Sorry if this is a bit elementary and or lazy but I've just bought a new Tungsten E last night, my first PDA and want to know what software should go out and get.
I realize that this might depend on what I want to do with it. At the moment, the only specific answer to that is I want it to enhance my life. I am social science researcher at a state univ. if that helps.
Cheers.

Checkout the reviews on this website, then check out the software page on my website. I have one-paragraph summary of all the software I have or have had on my Palm OS PDAs on my software page.
The #1 app I'd put on any Palm PDA is Uninstall Manager, which is best bought in the Neat Freak Pack with Cleanup. It will monitor the installation of all others and make sure that you can undelete them completely later. I live off of Datebk5 at http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/ to keep my hectic schedule together. I also use MessagEase at http://www.exideas.com/ as an alternative to Graffiti2.
Take your time and try the stuff that appeals to you for a couple of weeks before buying it.
