If you intend to play videos from the card, you might want to invest in a high speed card. Otherwise, and card will do.
We have reviews of several brands of storage cards here: http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/storage.htm

In my review at http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/PNY_Panasonic_SD_cards.htm , I explain that write speed provides the best feel for the user's card experience. By that measure and my experience, regular Panasonic SD cards provide the best performanced-based value. In tracking performance data, I've noticed that 32x and "high speed" cards simply tend to match the performance of ordinary Panasonic cards. I'd recommend ordinary Panasonic cards for the best experience with the best value. Although I tested on a Palm OS device, I don't see why a PPC would produce any different relative results.
