I just got my X30 yesterday and after charging it over night, I started playig around with it. I decided to put on one of the Dell screen protectors and I was unable to use the screen at all. I thought it might be screen aligment issues, since I was able to get some recognition, but the acuracy was way off. Unfortunately, I could get to the screen settings o go through alignment again. I tried a whole host of button combinations and manuevering around with only the D-pad and the scroll wheel, but no luck. I finally did a hard reset, no big loss since nothing was on it, and I still couldn't get it to recognize any screen taps. I played with it for a few minutes, turning the device "off," removing and re-applying the screen protector, and I finally got it working again with the protector. I guess my first question is, is there a way of reaching the screen settins without touch the screen? The other question is, has anyone else had similar problems with this? I vaguely remember my friend had problems with an HP 2215? (or was it 2115?) whenever he cleaned the screen, it wouldn't recognize any input through touching the screen either. After waiting a little while, I think it came back, but it was strange. Thanks for the great forum site, this is a great resource for information on PDAs. I look forward to your responses.

Be careful to make sure the screen protector doesn't extend into the crack where the LCD and bezel meet. If it gets in that area it can raise the bezel and place pressure on the LCD causing it to function poorly.
