I was downloading a few utility programs from Microsoft and lost the power. When the power came back on I turned on the Tripad and kept getting a Fatal Error message pertaining to a maap.exe file. Not sure thats exactly the file name I'm at work but think so. Anyways I did a reset with the same results and then took the batter out and left it out overnight and then tried again with the same results. Any ideas short of sending it in for service.

It's hard to imagine something went wrong with the hardware. Do a hard reset just to make sure (the backup battery might have lasted overnight by some miracle).

I left the batter out for a month. I guess the only way would be to get a new rom image in the tripad...... Thanks
