It has taken almost a week to learn and set up programs and documents, but this unit is fantastic. Clients call, I fax and email contracts out as if I am actually sitting in the office^^while I enjoy my Dim Sum or coffee. I was carrying around the keyboard, switched to the Pen Office (after teaching it my scrawl), but now have the Via Voice head phone connected by the USB port and have started thinking about sitting on the beach and laughing my head off.
Had a hard time finding a Bluetooth CF card for wireless access through my cell phone...the techs at these companies don`t even know what I was talking about...but found one at CompUSA...
Why are people posting here about syncing to their computer at the office? You dock this, turn on your LCD at the office and undock it and go... This is like taking the whole CPU unit and taking it with you
I am finally in heaven.... Hey---nothing to hope for but the future when I can have this all implanted behind my eyes...-s

I have a review of the U-70 that addresses standby and hibernation resume time. To enter and resume from Standby mode takes 2 seconds. TO enter or resume from Hibernation takes 10 seconds.

I am using the Socket CF card which I really like as it sits flush with the top of the U70. I only use it with the Motorola v710 phone for wireless connection. Please be aware that the Socket CF card does not work with the Stowaway BT keyboard. Stowaway is aware and are working on a driver change to make it work.
Others have expressed success with the Billinton CF card working with all the mentioned devices.

You should see similar speeds between those two cards.
