I was all set to buy a VGA pocket PC until a friend bought a Tungsten T3. He thinks that the T3 has a better screen resolution than the VGA Pocket PC's will have. What are your thoughts on this. I will mainly use the Pocket PC for sat nav and games while in the car so the best screen is essential for me.

The T3 has a 320 x 480 display while VGA displays are 640 x 480 (higher resolution).
It looks like you'll have to wait until mid-September for Pocket PCs with VGA screens, since the iPAQ 4705 and AUS VGA model are due out by then.
If you're into games, currently the vast majority of Pocket PC games run at standard PPC QVGA (quarter VGA) resolution, so you won't have a better gaming experience. In contrast, quite a few Palm OS games do make use of the T3's 320 x 480 resolution.

Thanks for clearing that one up. Guess I'll just have to wait until programmer's start to write games for VGA.
