Can the installation CD for the clie tj37 also be used on the clie ux50? Does it contain the same software? Recently purchase a used clie ux50 but original installation CD not included with package.
Also is there a way to get the original sony cd for this pda?

You should be able to use the TJ37 CD. The desktop syncing software is the same as are some, but not all of the apps.
If you call Sony, they should sell you a replacement CD for a nominal charge.

Thx for the info, tried the TJ37 cd, but PC was not finding drivers for the UX50. Went to Sony website, drivers not available. However I was able to find a company on ebay selling the installation cd. Company I bought from is stratuszone_com (www.strauszone.com), haven't rec'd cd yet, but hoping this will resolve my problem.
