Stupid question probably but I have to ask

Hey guys just wondering if there is such a feature in PDAs where you can say open a text document, and take notes with an attached keyboard or something and later on transfer it to a computer to be saved. I have a powerful laptop that gets really hot and is pretty heavy , which makes it annoying to take to my classes (starting second year of college). So that's all... just looking for something to make it easier to take notes in class.

Also just looking for cool features for day planning and stuff like that.
Again, I have no working knowledge of these things, so be specific with me

Thanks in advance!

Blake

Just about all of them are capable of it I believe...

I mean, all of them can hookup to desktops/laptops via a USB cable, right?
