Hi Lisa
Is wondering whether there are plans to build an SD gadget which we can put the phone SIM-card into it ?
It would be nice if I can turn my ipaq4100 into a phone as well!!!
Of course, meantime, the option is to get a PDA/phone combi.

The problem is acheiving that level of miniaturization. So far, no one can fit a mobile phone radio and SIM holder into an SD card. So a smartphone or Pocket PC with a CF slot are the only alternatives.

I'm guessing the anonymous poster meant using Bluetooth on the PDA to connect to a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone for Internet access.

OIC..thanks
That would defeat the purpose. The idea is to work without the mobile phone...
Oh..well...maybe this communication will give some people some idea.
