I was at a retail store recently and saw 3 Sony Clie's (I don't remember the model #'s)running on Pocket PC operating system. Were my eyes deceiving me? Is it possible to purchase a "historically" Palm OS brand with Pocket PC? Are these operating systems interchangeable?
It's not possible to have Clies run Pocket PC OS at the store. The only way a Palm OS device can run Windows Mobile is via emulator. Unless it's for some specific development needs, I don't see the point of running OS EMU. Buying a Pocket PC is much easier and will give you better performance in general than running in a EMU.
