Mobile Stream has just released a new breakout style game, Meteor.
Meteor is an amazing Breakout remake for Palm and PocketPC devices. You have to destroy bricks, saving your meteor from enemy missiles and getting as much power-ups as possible. 90 various levels with attractive space environment make much fun for players of all ages

No doubt. The graphics look sharper and the FX pieces look interesting. I wonder if they developed it or ported it.

It says remake, but that doesn't help a lot.  It does remind me a good deal of ricochet.

We concluded an agreement with Funny Arts to port their PC Meteor game to
handhelds. Now we released the Meteor game for Palm OS 5 and Pocket PC devices. The release for Symbian-based smartphones is coming soon.
Our Meteor game has nothing to do with Ricochet and Acky XP breakout-style games.

Beta-version of the Meteor game with VGA-enhanced smart graphics and effects has just been released.

OK, beta testing has finished and we have released the Meteor game for VGA Pocket PCs.
We are happy to announce that Meteor is the only action game for VGA (we know of) that uses hardware acceleration on Toshiba e800/e805 handhelds. And that makes it run really fast on these devices, unlike some other VGA games.
