iPAQ File Store

Hi. I noticed there is a default folder named 'iPAQ File Store'. It is always stated as 2.8MB free by Omega One Battery Pack. What is the special function of this folder? Does it has its own memory? Why is the battery pack showing its memory remaining? And why is it only 2.8MB and can we adjust the size of this folder? I'm new to iPAQ. Thanks

It's non-volatile ROM space for you to store important PIM data. Since it's in ROM, if you do a hard reset, the data stored here won't be erased.
