I have had problems USB synching a 2210 with my home PC (Win 98), I have no problems with work LAptop (Win 2000) but it used be OK on both. I have reinstalled Active sync a number of times and upgraded to 3.7.1 but still no luck. What HAppens............. I finish the Activesync installation , I go through the get connected routine but at the end of it it says the handheld device could not be detected. If I remove the 2210 from the cradle and then put it back Active sync wakes up on the PC appears to be connecting but then disconnects and says no Partnerships. On the 2210 at the same time a user authentification message appears but then says disconnect and finishes. What have I tried....... Reinstall Activesync Uninstall Zonealarm and AVG antivirus (these were the last progs installed on the PC and seemed to be a coincidence) Checked cables and cradles by swapping with the work laptop that still works. Disconnected all other USB Help please - anyone, all wisdom gratefully received

Have you tried deleting the partnership on the Win98 machine? Also, can you try plugging it into a different USB port as this will force the machine to reload the driver (hopefully sucessfully).
