Need the best PDA for ACT 6.0 database, GPS, and wireless 802.11b. Been looking at the Dell Axim X50V and Axim X50 & X30. Any ideas? Price range $600 to $800.
Good choice, I personaly own an x30 and have played around with freinds ipaq's and have found little difference other than price. One recomendation is getting is not getting sony, the sony doesn't support "SD" cards therefore the expandability option is more expensive since you have to purchase items for that paticular sony pda and could not be used on any other pda's other than sony in most cases. The expandability of any handheld greatly increased I have found when you get one that offers two card slots like the compact, dell, and hp to name a few. Also when I purchased mine I didnt get the wifi model, Mistake . Get as many built in options and you can except for the camera because upgradeing can be costly. In a whole I have found that there is little difference in pda's other than name and speed. I do recomend staying away from palm os. I found the windows pocket pc os works the best with the windows xp service pack 2 up grade. have fun
