I Bought a Tungsten E yesterday and I am extremely happy with it compared to my old Palm Vx. But I can't use the USB cable to hot sync. When I plug it into my laptop, Windows XP pops up a notice saying that the device has exceeded the power limit of the USB port. When I plug it into other PCs and laptops around the office, either the same message appears or nothing happens at all. I can synchronize via infra red so it's not a biggie. Just curious as I can't find any information on the problem anywhere.
You shouldn't see that message when syncing, especially on a desktop machine which has plenty of power going out the USB ports. I'm wondering if the unit doesn't have a defect.
