The i700 like all PDAs and phones has an internal battery. It's described in our review.

The main battery is generally referred to as the internal battery. PDAs with removable batteries such as the Samsung i700 also have a backup battery which can be a coin cell or a capacitor that holds a charge long enough for you to change the "main" battery if you wish.

The modem driver on the CD is the only one for the i700. Not sure why it's not working for you.

A coin cell battery is the same as a watch battery-- very small. The i700 uses a capacity and not a coin cell anyhow. The i700 comes with a 2nd main battery that's higher capacity. Read our review of the i700 to learn more about it.

I'm not sure what you're asking about "issue" with the i700.
