I'm a college student and I'm looking to buy a PDA within the next week or so. I'm interest in the Tungsten T or T2. I have look on ebay and some of them are in my price range. Well, my question is, I understand that the battery is not replaceable. Should I take this into consideration when buying a used PDA. (Dont laugh ) Say, if I do buy it and later on if the battery dies, does that mean I have to buy a new PDA? I know I'm a newbie.
Battery life should be part of your consideration when buying a used PDA. Unless the PDA uses AAA battery, the lithium-ion batteries will eventually loose charge. Since the Tungsten has non-user replaceable battery, you will need either send the PDA in to get the battery replaced or go to places listed here. It's usually more costly when you send in the Palm than when you do it yourself.
