Hi
I'm a medical student and I'm having a hard time deciding which Palm to buy. Is the slider on the T3 really that much of a problem? And does the T5 indeed crash that easily? I would love the have a palm OS based PDA which combines: - large screen - camera - long battery life
I know the Clie th55 meets these qualifications, but the unit seems to be out of stock everywhere and not everyone loves the scrolling wheel on the back.
Every unit has it pro's and con's, and right now I'm stuck.
Could someone help me out?
Thanks!

Our T3's slider has never been problematic. The T5 doesn't crash constantly, but does occasionally and Palm users aren't accustomed to a Palm that crashes more than once/year
IF you want a camera, the Zire 72 is a really nice device, though you do tradeoff on screen resolution.

I have a ton of medical stuff on my T3 and it runs great. No slider problems in over a year. The T5 wouldn't be a bad choice, as programs are being updated for compatibility. If you get a T5, be sure to load the Palm OS patches immediately after the initial charge an before loading anything else. The Zire may not have enough RAM depending on what you want to load and where.

Thanks for the help, you guys!
It's going to be the T5, because of the better battery life and extended memory.
Now I'll just have to search for a good case and some SD cards. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them.
Hope to talk to you later when I finally own a Palm!
And then the problems arise.. probably
