I will be attending medical school next year, and I wanted to buy a PDA that could make the transition easier. I have never owned a PDA. I am more interested in a pocket pc, but I am open to any suggestions. I was wondering if I would be able to view power point presentations. Also I was wondering about how useful the internet is on these devices. Can you view any web site, or are there select websites with compatibility. Thanks for any help.

You can view most any web site though you'll need to scroll more since the screen resolution on PDAs is much less than desktops/notebooks.
Some PalmOne PDAs come with Documents To Go for viewing PowerPoint presentations. If yours doesn't you can but that app separately which also allows you to view and edit MS Word and Excel docs.
There are a few 3rd party PowerPoint viewers for Pocket PC. You can check them out on sites like www.handango.com.
