I am putting together a made up handheld device and am having difficulties finding information regarding pda motherboards. This is for a school assignment but I am not looking for you to do it for me. I have the following questions:
- Where could I find information (names, specs) about the motherboards developed for, for example, the Dell x50 running an xscale processor?
I have searched all websites of the big manufacturers but have not been able to find any pointers to any specific information so far regarding this issue.
Greatly appreciate any help!

Manufacturers generally don't advertise the motherboard maker or ODM for a device. But HTC makes quite a few of them (many iPAQs, several smartphones), and Compal is another (they made several Toshiba PDAs).
