      #19091 - 02/07/05 08:35 PM

Alert Technologies proudly announces their first port to the Smartphone platform: Yachzee (Smartphone Edition). There were many challenges keeping the great game play while redesigning the user interface to fit the Smartphone environment. If you get a chance, check out Yachtzee here:

The "Game of Yacht" or known today as Yachtzee originated from a dice game played on a yacht. Yachtzee is a very addictive and fun game to play! Now you can take Yachtzee anywhere on your Smartphone or Pocket PC. You can play up to 8 players on Yachtzee. The animation is smooth and pleasing. As you roll the dice, the dice sweep across the score sheet into their slots accordingly to reveal their values. If you haven't played Yachtzee, don't worry because we included the rules in detail, which are easily accessible from the main menu. Once you start playing Yachtzee, you'll never want to stop. Highscores are kept so you can compete against your previous scores. Dazzling graphics and awesome gameplay packed into one small game. You won't find that anywhere else!

Jim Cleek aka Slacker from Mobile Gadget News (MGN) was kind enough to review Yachtzee. Check out his review here: http://www.mpx200.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7087

Don't forget Yachtzee is also available for your Pocket PC as well as your Smartphone!
