Batterylife/memory space for Voice recording
      #19234 - 02/18/05 05:17 PM

I just purchased a new Dell Axim x50v and i am curious as to how long i can record a sound clip for? Does recording sound take up alot of space...i wouldn't think so but i dont know...also does it use up alot of the battery life, i hear the battery life on the Dell Axim's are generally short anyways.
thanks for the help

You are limited only by the amount of a available storage: if you have a large CF or SD card you could record for more than an hour!

The file size depends on the audio quality you specify- higher quality uses up more space. Recording does use battery power but not as much as playing back video, for example.
