My wife lost her Sony Clie and I convinced her to purchase a PalmOne Tungston. I have had three different Palm models and for the most part I have been very happy. When she went to restore the data to her new Tungston from her PC the data was gone. All of her appointments and phone numbers. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to restore the data or even to view it on her PC?

It's probably still there. There's a popup menu where you can select the Hotsync ID of your PDA. If your wife used a new Hotsync name, then she'll need to use that popup menu to switch to the Clie's Hotsync name and data.
