Dear all, I neeed heelllp. I have a problem with replacing my O2 battery, because I don't want to lose my SMSs (short messages services) that I save in my PDA (cause I have lots, lots of them, hundreds). I just don't know how to back them up. Because the battery is so bad, once I tried to take out the battery and all of my SMSs are gone. Active Sync will only back-up e-mail messages. Do you by any chance know how to back up SMS messages to PC?
Thank you in advance.

Have you tried the Backup function in ActiveSync, which should backup everything, not just items synced to Outlook. You can find Backup under the Tools menu in ActiveSync on your PC.

I've tried that but will that backed up my sms as well? I still can not gamble with it even though I've backed them up. But many thanks to you. You're really a truly PDA Addict. Can you ensure that by using the back-up feature, it will also backed-up the smses.

If ActiveSync backup isn't doing the trick for you, check out Sprite Backup which does a very complete backup of everything on the PDA to a storage card. That really should catch everything. And for just backing up mail and SMS there's Kai's Mail+SMS Backup .Net, 1.5 by Kaisoft / Pocketkai.
