Dell Axim X5 PPC 2002 with Alignment Looping

Anybody knows how to fix this problem? i have done a hard/soft reset and everything, nothing works. I'm on the A04 rom. Please assist. Will a upgrade to Mobile ppc 2003 work in this case?
Any help would be appreciated.
