Hi, im fairely new to the PPC universe, 2 weeks ago i bought a Toshiba e400 and a SD card 512mb 60x. When i put the card in my PPC, nothing happens. Must i format the card with an external card reader on my PC or do something like this to get my Pocket PC to detect it, or is it supposed to work and it dont for no reason?
Help would be really appreciated, tnx.

Ok, did a soft-restart and card is now showing in file browser

Interesting. Your PPC should have detected the card immediately after you inserted it. If it is powered off when a card is inserted, the PPC will turn on.
As a general rule of thumb, a soft reset will often solve problems--many times for inexplicable reasons. Clearing the program memory with a soft reset often eliminates conflicts or causes the system to recognize hardware that it forgot about.
