hello, it's my first post here - so I'll try to make it as nasty as possibile.
Can you run regular windows programs on a pocketpc pda? And, continuing that, are there cd emulation programs that run on pocketpc? I'm trying to decide what to buy, and I have a few medical books on cd - but they are normal windows versions, and require the cd. So I wondered if I could find some cd emulator, a pda with enough memory, and still run those programs on a pda.
Yes, and Palm has lots of advantages too. You could find hundreds of pages debating this subject if you Googled it, but my personal opinion is that if you are an inexperienced user and you just want PIM functionality, get a Palm; if you want to use WiFi, Internet, and other more advanced features, get a PocketPC.
I find Palms easier to use and PocketPCs more powerful.
