I went for the cheap ViewSonic V35 (around $299). The first one did not work properly and I exchanged it at the retailer (CompUSA). The replacement performed well for the first two years of our partnership. Unfortunately a black line appeared across the lower third of the display and has remained there. I called the Customer Service and the rep's advice was, when learning that it was out of warranty, was to dump it and buy another! He would not give me an idea of how much to repair, telling me that it would not be worth it! My plan is to replace this item with a smart phone in June when my current contract is up and forget the PDA. Don't count on ViewSonic's customer service. I've emailed them two times since my conversation with their representative and have received no response. If you have the stomach for this brand, buy it with your VISA card and buy the extended warranty from them. Good luck.
