I had same problem. First upgraded my flash version to 1.11 from HP site. Problem got resolved for sending SMS, but this problem was also there when I tried to use tools->options, with the result that I was stuck in "vibrate" mode.

I kept fiddling and surprise !! I went to start->settings->system->connections->gsm/gprs settings. When I clicked on the same, I got the message "SIM Card not found". Then I chose manual configuration of network parameters and chose the country and operator. Bingo! no more messages asking me to wait for 15 seconds!

Goodluck!

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. Finally, I sold the Ipaq and using Mini O2 that has no such problem

This problem occurs when you put your ipaq 6365 on flight mode then afterwards when you turn "on" the phone, it will say that "the phone is not ready", or when you pass by an area without phone coverage then if the signal comes back it will say the same.

Whenever this problem occurs, perform a soft reset..it always works
