How to sync my new Dell Axium with old data on PC?

I recently had my HP Pocket PC 4700 series stolen! But I daily syncroized my old PPC. I'm buying a new Dell Axium. What are the specific steps I must follow to sync my new Axium with my desk top PC which contains much of the data from my stolen PPC??
