Hi I am struggling to get my NX70V I bought yesterday to playback MP3 files.
The only information in the trouble shoting guide is variable bit rate recording and I have checked that my files are constant VBR.
Is it the software is there something better?? I have a net MD from Sony also and the Open juke box software which Sonic is very much the same is a pain.
Any help please.
Mike
PS nice of Sony to make all the software installation and the getting started so staright forward?????????

I use MusicMatch Jukebox (free version) and it does a great job. I encode at 128k for PDAs, and yes, make sure VBR is never checked. Then I drag them to the appropriate directory on the Mem Stick MSAUDIO folder).

Hi managed to sort the problem out. I was using Ahead Nero software and although I had the settings correct for copying audio files, there was a check box for MP3pro, this converted the 44.1khz to 22khz for some reason.
I have downloaded the free version of Music Match Jukebox and will try it later.
Many thanks
Mike
