Experts Only Question
      #25951 - 11/22/06 07:49 PM

Hello,

I'm interested if the Verizon XV6700 can do the following:

First, I create an appointment in the Calender app to call Joe (whose phone number is already in Contacts or whatever app stores phone numbers).

Next, I'd like to open that appointment and have the phone call Joe (via a link to Contacts or something similar), without having to exist Calender, go to Contacts, search on Joe, and then dial his number.

Is that possible??

If not, which smartphone can?

I've already called Palm support and their Treo 650, 700p, and 700w can NOT do this. The Motorola Q appears to not be able to do this. I doubt any of the Blackberry models can, but I have not confirmed this, so would like to know if anyone can assist.

-Ken

Nope, you can add attendees to meetings in your calendar but you can't link to their phone number on Windows Mobile PPC phones including the XV6700.
