This is something I don't understand. You can get 1 gig USB flash drives for $20 but a $400 dollar phone can't hold more than 64M built-in + 128M ROM card total. It is the one thing that prevents me from buying right now. Flash memory is cheap, they should put it in the phones. Then I can store lots of music/picture/video. Right now I'm looking at the XV6700. If anyone knows of a PDA phone that allows you to use high capacity memory cards beyond a gig, please let me know! thx

I agree that high end phones should have more flash memory for storage. Most PDA phones and smartphones made in the past year are compatible with 2 gig cards. The Transcend 4 gig SD card even works in most because it's not the new high density SD standard. In microSD cards, it's still hard to find a card larger than 4 gig anyhow.
