Looking for the perfect pda
      #27817 - 06/12/07 11:53 AM

HI. I need your expert help. I am looking for a pda (without phone) that can organize my daily life. I would like wi-fi, bluetooth, if possible and integrated keyboard. And I'd love to be able to sling with it. Money isn't really an issue. I just need something that can do it all, minus a phone.

The HP iPAQ hx2495 and hx2795 should do the trick. They can do all you ask but they don't have a built-in keyboard. These days only the PDAs with phones have integrated keyboards. You can use a Bluetooth or IR folding keyboard though.

Here are reviews of those PDAs:

I've looked at both HPs. I've also been looking at the Dell Axim 51v, the Palm LifeDrive, and the Palm T/X. Out of those 3 and the 2 Hps, which one would you choose?

If you'd like a VGA display, then the Axim X51v is a great choice (in fact it's the only VGA choice in the US). It's a bit larger than the iPAQ, if size matters to you.

Honestly, they're both good devices and it's hard to recommend one over the other.
