Hello everyone: Here's what I am looking for: Something like a NEC MobilePro900 or Jornada 720 as far as size goes. I need: a USB port, full keyboard, ability to read/edit WORD, EXCEL, etc docs and read PDF files.
I would like: an SD Card slot, wireless internet ability.
I like the NEC because now the price is pretty reasonable. I am looking to spend under $300.00, which limits my choices.
I am a total newbie to this field of technology. You help and patience is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately that style of device isn't much made anymore and the few that are cost quite a bit. Your best bet might be a used Jornada 720 or MobilePro. Alternatively there are used Sharp Zaurus C700 series devices which might fall under $300.
