Im looking for a second cell phone with basic functionality (txt mssgs, etc), small, but can receive better than average reception (there is coverage in my area, but my sleeping quarters seems to me a low/dead spot)... does this exist?

The T-Mobile Dash, good old RAZR and Nokia phones have strong RF.
