Ok, here's the story. I've got a shiny Verizon XV6700 with the latest ROM update. I'm using Activsync 4.5.
Up until an hour ago, everything worked fine.
Now I am unable to install ANY application.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Rebooted both my PC and PPC. Reinstalled Activesync. Rebooted again. Cursed under breath. Tried to install programs from activesync and failed. Tried to install .CAB programs right from the PPC and failed. Continued cursing. Ran a virus check. Ran tests and fixes in Pocket Mechanic. Used the name of God in vain repeatedly.
Now I'm here. Any ideas?

What error do you get when you try to install an application from ActiveSync and when installing using the CAB file directly on the 6700?

Activesync gives no errors. It does its thing and copies the files to the PPC. When installing from both AS and the PPC, it gets to the install prompt screen, gets to the point where I select where to install (choosing the SD card), then skips right to installation unsuccessful. It's like I had hit cancel in the middle of installation.

Wonder if it's a problem with the SD card. Does the same thing happen when you try to install to internal storage?

I have two SD cards and tried both of them. Same problem on both.

How about installing to the device's memory instead of a card?

I had tried that too. Still didn't work.
At this point I got sick of it and did a hard reset. Now everything works.
Thanks for the help.

I'm new in here and I don't know how to start a new topic. So, anyway, I need help and I will use this Quick Reply Tab and start a new post, instead reply the question above - sorry for that.
This concern to a HP iPAQ H2200 Series; iPAQ Pocket PC 2003 Prem.
My iPAQ battery did dies definitely and due to this I loose all my precious files. So is there any possibility to restore all my files back? I had tried the iPAQ Backup and the Sprite Backup programs, but it didn?t help. I appreciate any help with this.
Tanks
